MicroVal Working Group Milk reviews four validation studies

Since September 2023, the MicroVal Working Group Milk has reviewed and discussed four validation studies of milk-analysis methods.

The studies include:

  • 2015LR55 – FOSS Analytical A/S’s Fossomatic™ FC for the enumeration of somatic cells
  • 2021LR97 – Bentley Instruments, Inc.’s BactoCount IBC 3.0 for the enumeration of somatic cells and total bacterial count
  • 2021LR98 – Bentley Instruments, Inc.’s BactoCount IBCm 3.0 for the enumeration of somatic cells and total bacterial count
  • 2024LR133 – FOSS Analytical A/S’s BactoScan™ 5 for the quantification of total bacterial count
